Fourth treatment

I felt great after the fourth treatment and today as well. I really feel like this Bionic 880 is helping tremendously. Prior to this, when I would stop antibiotics, I would decline, in fact, I was declining leading up to my trip to Germany. Now I am feeling as well as I do on antibiotics.

Before my fourth treatment, I finally got my chiropractic adjustment (in my shorts, LOL). It was great! He is very thorough, working his way up from the toes all the way to the head.

Today Willow and I went to Heidelberg. What a beautiful city! We walked, and walked, and walked! We walked up to the top of a hill to the castle there. The castle was built from 1294 through the 1500's, so much of it is in ruins. We had a wonderful time.

I am feeling really good. I put myself at about 90%, but Willow says I'm more likely 80% from her observations .... but that's me always overestimating how I feel, likely because I have had Lyme for most of my life.

Willow has not seen much change. Her Lyme load was the lowest of the three of us and she knew before she came that she has extremely high Epstein Barr numbers. She plans on buying Epstein Barr nosodes and treating it when she gets back with her Bionic 880.

Scott, the Better Health Guy arrived today and it was good to meet him and a friend of his who is also here to be treated.

Our fifth treatment is Monday, and we get tested again on Thursday .... go home on Saturday!!!

Update and shameless advertising

Well, since I'm doing so well, I really have no HEALTH updates for you at this point. YAY!!! Nice to have nothing to say about my health, right? :) But, I finished my first 100 hours of pilates training with my new certification program (I'm already "certified", just adding to it). It was 25 hours per week, as I told you in my last post. I took the test, both written and teaching a client, and passed!! Onto the next stage!! The next stage starts this weekend with 18 hours of training over 3 days .... over half that will be doing pilates, so I'll be exhausted by Monday when I have a 90 minute massage scheduled! I also wanted to tell you that my daughter started blogging. It's a more fun read than this one because it's all about fun topics and has pictures. Please check it out and let me know what you think! Raw Food: Ignored advice to go slow!!!

Prior to becoming ill, I ate a TON of raw food! I tried to shoot for 50% or more. I juiced often. Then, when I got sick, I couldn't digest raw food at all. :( I could only eat vegetables if they were overcooked, so soups became a favorite because who likes overcooked side dishes? Recently, I FINALLY can eat as much raw food as I want, so as I usually do, I went overboard. I read Norman Walker's book on Weight Control .... I didn't buy it, it came with my Norwalk Juicer .... but it has good information in it about eating raw. He warns, GO SLOW, don't change over all at once. Did I listen? Of course not!!! I'm too healthy for it to have been more than a little issue! WRONG!!! A day in, as usual, I had a little headache. Nothing big. Hardly noticeable. Food Reactions

Despite having had the negative allergy testing, I'm still having reactions occasionally to some foods. I didn't elaborate much on my allergy testing before, but I was highly disappointed by it. When I told the doctor the reactions I had been having, he told me it wasn't possible. He told me it wasn't possible to have hives for two weeks, even though I said I had. He told me it wasn't possible that I had a swollen throat, swollen enough for others to tell me I looked like I had the mumps, for a couple weeks. He told me normal reactions only last for a few hours or days. I totally understand it not being the typical reaction, but when a doctor tells me it isn't even possible, it's very clear to me that I've been labeled a hypochondriac at best or a liar at worst and that there will be no working relationship between us.
